September 16 will be a busy Saturday for Los Banos residents, with a downtown street fair, a pancake breakfast, and a city clean-up day.

Starting at 8 a.m., the Los Banos Rotary Club is hosting its Pancake Breakfast fundraiser at the Miller & Lux Building (830 Sixth Street).

Rotarians, with the help of Interact Club high school students from both Los Banos and Pacheco High Schools, will be serving from 8 to 11:30 a.m. pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, coffee, juice and milk. Tickets are $10 and $5 for children under six.

Tickets are now available from every Rotarian or by calling ticket chairman Gene Lieb at 209.704.3831. Tickets are also available online at https://los-banos-rotary.square.site/. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.

All proceeds go to supporting Los Banos’ 2024 Sober Graduation Night.

The breakfast is taking place in connection with the Los Banos Downtown Street Faire, presented by the Los Banos Chamber of Commerce, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring arts and crafts, food, and music.

Many vendors are expected to attend the event, where residents of all ages can experience, as the chamber says, “fun for the whole family to enjoy.”

In keeping with the theme of community, Mid Valley Disposal will be having their quarterly Los Banos community clean-up day for all residents of Los Banos from 8 a.m.. to noon at the Los Banos Fairgrounds parking lot at the corner of Fourth and F Streets.

Proof of residency and event flyer is required for entry.

Clean-up day is a welcome relief to anyone who has lost the benefits of their garage due to clutter or may have recently upgraded their furniture or appliances.
