On Saturday June 18, the Los Banos Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual Dad’s
Day Out event. For almost a decade the Chamber has been holding this event every year and it gets bigger and better with added vintage cars, new craft vendors, and kids entertainment.
The 2022 Dad’s Day Out event added something new and that was bounce house and rock-climbing inflatable units. The bounce houses are owned by Domingo Sandoval Wood Creation, and it was a big hit with the kids. Thanks to Domingo Sandoval for his part in making the 2022 Dad’s Day Out a success.
For nearly a decade the Chamber’s Executive Director, Michelle Sandoval has spearheaded this event with the help of volunteers who graciously arrive at 5 a.m. to set up the entry check points, making sure streets are barricaded, cars parked in designated spots, vendors and crafts are in designated spots, kids’ entertainment are in place and making sure safety precautions are in place.
The chamber prides itself in supporting the local businesses and citizens of Los Banos as well as surrounding cities with events such as the annual Christmas parade, street fairs and tomato festivals.
The chamber is a nonprofit organization, and all proceeds are reinvested into the community of Los Banos.
