It will be a day of cool weather and hot cars.
The 31st annual Hot Summer Nights Car Show will take to the streets of Dos Palos this Saturday, June 10.
With weather temperatures expected to be in the low 80s, it will be a perfect day for food, music and classic automobiles.
The annual event is sponsored by the Dos Palos Lions Club and will take place downtown.
Registration for participants will begin at 1 p.m. and go until 4 p.m.
There will be at least 12 categories for the pickups and cars that will be entered. The Best of Show winner will take home a $500 prize and the biggest car club in attendance will win $250. Other categories will include: Classic 50-64, Trucks ’72 & Older, Stock 1933-1974, Muscle 65-72, Trucks 73 & Newer, Stock 1975 & Newer, Street Rod, Under Construction, Antique 1949 & Older, Custom, Sports Car, Retro Mods.
Pre-registration for participants is $15 and $25 the day of the show.
