Los Banos Parks and Recreation is excited to invite the public to a community meeting to discuss the newest park to the city. On Oct. 6 at 6 p.m. at the Community Center, 645 7th St. Los Banos Parks and Recreation will be presenting an update to the Shaunessy Village Park design and collect public input. The park will be located along De Anza Way in the new Shaunessy Village neighborhood. The park will be a pocket park and include a detention basin space. If you are unavailable to attend the meeting you can provide your comments, questions, and ideas to parksandrecreation@losbanos.org.
Los Banos Parks and Recreation has many more exciting ideas activities coming up this fall. Junior Warriors Winter Basketball League is registering now and on Oct. 3 Breakfast with Santa event tickets will be on sale. Breakfast with Santa, held on Dec. 10 at the Community Center, is the perfect way to start the holidays with pancakes, crafts, fun games, and the opportunity to take your picture with Santa.
Recreation is also registering for countless new classes including Turn Up with Sara Dance exercise class, Beyond Essentials Yoga, Yoga for Kids, Meditation Class, First Aid Certification, Youth Volleyball Skills Clinic, Aikido, Zumba class.
Parks and Recreation would also like to thank all the groups and volunteers that came out on Sept. 24 to Regency Lot D Park.
