Pacheco (4-3-4 overall, 0-1-1 WAC) and Los Banos (3-5-1 overall) took to the field at Veteran’s Stadium last week in a non-league matchup that was more than a typical tune up for each team over winter break.
Three barrels were filled with toy donations as the teams collected items that would be handed out on Christmas Eve. The game was played to a 0-0 tie as both defenses played strong on the cold evening at Pacheco High.
Pacheco will be back in action on the Dec. 30 taking on Madera High at Matilda Torres. The Tigers play again in their league opener on January 7th against Merced.
