As we prepare for a new school year at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School in Los Banos, we are excited to welcome some familiar faces in new roles and celebrate the theme that will guide us throughout the year: “Come, follow me.”
We are proud to welcome Andrea Fontaine as our new 7th grade teacher. Andrea is no stranger to our school community—her oldest son recently graduated from OLF, and her two younger sons are current students.
Andrea served as a second-grade aide last spring, and we are thrilled to now have her leading our junior high students with the same care and dedication she’s already shown. She brings not only academic preparation but also a strong love for our faith and mission.
Mrs. Alexi Cortopassi, our former 7th grade teacher, will now be teaching 8th grade.
Joining us as our new second-grade aide is Paris Kelly. Also joining us as our new kindergarten aide is Hallie Young. Both young ladies are OLF alumnae whose joy and enthusiasm are infectious. They are excited to return to the school that helped shape them and are eager to give back to our students in the same nurturing environment that once supported them.
Our theme for the 2025–2026 school year, “Come, follow me,” invites each member of our school family to walk more closely with Christ in all we do. Rooted in faith, community, and service, this call challenges us to lead by example, to support one another with compassion, and to grow together in our journey of discipleship.
If you are curious to learn more about Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School, we invite you to visit us, take a tour, and experience the joy and faith that fill our classrooms. We welcome new families with open arms and would love the opportunity to share what makes our school so special.
Additionally, if you feel called to support Catholic education, we are always grateful for those who wish to sponsor a student. Your generosity can make a life-changing difference for a child whose family might not otherwise be able to afford a faith-based education.
