This past week, the Firebaugh FFA Chapter celebrated National FFA Week. Every day of the week had a designated dress-up day for members to participate in. It was a fun way for members to engage in chapter activities.

During the week, the officer team delivered gifts to teachers and staff members as a way of expressing our gratitude for their continued support of our program.

To end the week-long celebration, the chapter held a carnival Friday afternoon with various activities available for members to enjoy. Among those were cake walk, soda ring toss, cornhole, Hula Hoop football, and basketball toss.

This meeting was a major hit, with many members in attendance, who engaged in playing the numerous activities set up inside the gymnasium. The satisfaction on their faces when their numbers were drawn during the cake walk or when they successfully landed the ring around the soda bottle brought much joy. Those who participated in all five of these activities were entered into a raffle where the winner received a $15 dollar gift card to Starbucks.

Again, huge congratulations to Xochitl Gamino for being our drawing winner. The chapter looks forward to holding more meetings for our members. Stay tuned for upcoming events in the near future.
