Camarena Health announced the grand opening of its first-ever health center in Merced County. The new Los Banos Health Center, a state-of-the art, two-story facility spanning approximately 16,000 square feet, will provide a full range of comprehensive healthcare services all under one roof.

As Camarena Health celebrates 45 years of trusted, compassionate care, this expansion brings its long-standing commitment of patient-centered healthcare to Los Banos and the neighboring communities of Merced County.

The new facility marks Camarena Health’s 23rd community health center and offers medical, dental, optometry, behavioral health, health education and chiropractic services, ensuring residents have access to high-quality care all in one location.

“The Los Banos Health Center project was made possible through the support of New Market Tax Credits, in partnership with Classic Lake, our advisor, and financing partners Urban Research Park, NCIF, Wells Fargo, and City First Bank,” said Paulo Soares, CEO of Camarena Health.

“This collaboration provided the critical financing needed to bring high-quality healthcare services to the community, ensuring greater access to medical care for residents. Through this strategic investment, the project not only enhances healthcare infrastructure but also contributes to economic development and community well-being.”

Camarena Health hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on March 27 at 2520 Pacheco Blvd.

With this new location, Camarena Health continues to grow its footprint as a leading provider of integrated healthcare services in the Central Valley. The Los Banos Health Center officially opened its doors on March 10.
