Pacheco High School junior, Jace Campos received a sendoff celebration fit for a true winner on Nov. 22. During lunch the cross country all league runner was led down the main walk at the school accompanied by teammates and fellow band members in honor of his qualifying to compete in the state cross country championship. Jace joins former Pacheco High cross country athletes, Ryan Salcido and Daniel Herrera as the only Panthers to reach the ultimate race. Jace has had a great season breaking most of Salcido and Herreras records in getting to the final race on November 30 at Woodward Park in Fresno.
