I am eagerly looking forward to students returning to campus on Aug. 8, and I’m delighted to share with our community the theme for the upcoming school year at Our Lady of Fatima School: “One Family, One Hope in Christ.”
This theme encapsulates the spirit and mission that drives our school’s educational and spiritual journey. At OLF, we believe that we are more than just a school; we are a family.
This sense of family is rooted in our shared faith and commitment to nurturing not only the minds but also the hearts of our students. We strive to create an environment where every student feels valued, supported, and loved, reflecting the unity and compassion that Christ teaches us.
The concept of “One Family” emphasizes the importance of togetherness and mutual support. In a world that often feels divided, our goal is to foster a community where differences are celebrated, and every individual is recognized as a unique and vital part of our family.
Through our programs, activities and daily interactions, we aim to cultivate a sense of belonging and connectedness among students, parents, and staff.
“One Hope in Christ” serves as a reminder of the foundation of our faith and the ultimate source of our strength and inspiration. In times of joy and challenge alike, it is our hope in Christ that guides us and gives us the courage to persevere.
This hope is not just a passive wish but an active and vibrant faith that empowers us to make positive changes in our lives and in the world around us.
I am excited to announce that we have a new faculty member joining our school family. Mrs. Adariana Cortopassi is our new fifth grade homeroom teacher. Mrs. Cortopassi received her education at UC Merced and has served our community as an Education Specialist with Los Banos Unified School District. Her older daughter will be starting TK (Transitional Kindergarten) at OLF.
As we embark on this new school year, we invite the entire community to join us in embracing this theme. Let us work together to build a school environment where faith, hope, and love are at the forefront of everything we do.
Through our collective efforts, we can create a place where our students not only excel academically but also grow into compassionate and responsible individuals, ready to contribute positively to society.
If you are interested in learning more about our school, please contact us. We have openings in grades third through eighth.
Thank you for your continued support and prayers. Together, as one family, with the guidance of our patroness, the Blessed Virgin Mary, let us place our hope in Christ and look forward to a year filled with growth, unity and blessings.
