Romero Elementary School hosted its tenth Love Romero Day event on April 13. Despite the rainy weather, the event’s fun and festivities still carried on.

Romero’s parent club put on the event. Community members from Santa Nella and nearby towns were in attendance, supporting the local vendors and the fundraising effort.

There were various activities for children, such as bingo and an Easter egg hunt. The silent auction was a crowd favorite, consisting of items like a spa day, gift bags and other items.

The proceeds from the event will go towards a scholarship that’s given to graduating high school seniors who had attended Romero Elementary School for at least three years.
