Los Banos’ first homicide of the year occurred on June 9.
A shooting occurred at 2:35 p.m. Friday, June 9, in the 1300 block of Tanner Road near Pacheco Boulevard, according to Los Banos Police Commander Ray Reyna.
Upon arrival emergency personnel found one adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Los Banos hospital where he died.
Reyna said it’s the first Los Banos homicide of 2023. The identity will be released pending notification of next of kin. According to Reyna no one has been arrested and the investigation is ongoing.
