Joshua A. Vincent, known by his nick name “Slosh” was born on July 24, 1980 in Fresno and passed away suddenly on January 7, 2023 in Dos Palos at the age of 42. Josh was a lifelong resident of Dos Palos where he graduated from Dos Palos High School and was a member of the FFA. Josh had been an Equipment Operator for the Columbia Canal Company for the past 15 years. Josh is preceded in death by his grandparents Bob Burkhart, Joe Vincent and Emily Vincent. He is survived by his mother Terry Burkhart (Bob), father Darrell Vincent (Dene), his brothers Aaron Vincent and Nicholas Vincent and his sister Logan Vincent; his girlfriend Michelle Machado, nieces Taron Vincent and Teya Vincent and nephew Trevin Vincent. He is the grandson of Bernadine Burkhart and is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation for Josh will be on Friday, January 27, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dos Palos from 10 AM to 11 AM with a Funeral Mass celebrated at 11 AM. Immediately following the Mass a reception will be held at The DES Hall in Dos Palos. The Burial Service will be on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 11 AM in the Arbor Area of the Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera. Remembrances in Josh’s memory may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
