A Los Banos native, was born July 26, 1949 and passed away on April 15, 2023. At the age of 15, Johnny started his career at the MOBIL station working with his uncle, Tom Hill. After graduating, he went to work for Buddy Accardo at Phillips’ 66 before moving to San Jose to work at Sherwin Williams. Johnny then returned to Los Banos, met his wife of 35 years, Jeannette, and started a family. Johnny began working for Los Gatos Tomato Products in 1991 where he worked for 33 years. At home, you could find him sitting in his chair watching a John Wayne western, or more recently, Yellowstone. Johnny was an avid lotto player and enjoyed talking politics and current events. Weekends meant “In-n-Out” with his brother, Duane, and Sunday family dinner at home. Johnny loved partying with his friends and being the best dad to his two girls.

He is survived by his wife Jeannette (Heguy), daughter Chelsea, son-in-law Christopher Witt, grandson Miles Jaime Witt, brother Duane Brown, sisters Betty Casica (Dave) and Clessie Bronson (Pat), and many nieces and nephews. Johnny was preceded in death by his daughter, Jaime Noel Brown, parents Leonard and Ella Brown, brother Donald Brown, sister-in law Marie Brown, nephew Paul Iturbide, brother-in-law Pete Heguy Jr., great-nephew Ty Cascia and best friend Louie Meza.

A Celebration of Life, to share stories and remember the life of Johnny Brown, will take place at a later date.
