An incredible scholarship opportunity for students with disabilities is being offered by members of the California-Hawaii Elks Major Project, Inc Board of Trustees.

Effective for the 2023-2024 school year, more than $60,000 in scholarship is being offered for undergraduate students with disabilities. This includes high school seniors, high school graduates or students who have passed their GED exam or California High School Proficiency Examination.

Previously, this scholarship was awarded to five individuals and came in the form of $1,000. Now, twenty to thirty students with disabilities have the opportunity to receive between $1,000 and $3,000 each. Plus, students can reapply every year earning up to 4 years of assistance.

Campus life is expensive and this scholarship will help ease the burdens of students attending a licensed vocational school, an accredited community college or a four-year college. This money can be used for a number of student challenges and academic expenses including tuition, books, lab fees, and on campus room and board only.

Scholarships ease the burden of undergraduate students. This scholarship will be awarded to twenty to thirty students which create incredible odds for applicants.

The Scholarship Committee of the California-Hawaii Elks Major Project, Inc will review applications and communicate to persons involved via email.

Applications for the 2023-2024 school year are available now through March 15. Applications can be found on the Elks website at www.chea-elks.org/youth-activities/scholarships.

Please ensure that applications are submitted for the upcoming school year. The applicant is responsible for properly executing and forwarding the completed application to the California-Hawaii Elks Major Project, Inc.
