The Century 21 Select Group office in Los Banos is holding its annual Coats for Kids Drive.

Recently the Dos Palos Women’s Improvement Club donated $2,000 to purchase coats. The club has been in existence since 1910 helping people from all walks of life. The current club president is Megan Fries and over the years they have given back to the community in various ways.

A few examples of their generosity would be the three $1,000 high school scholarships to graduates who will be entering the medical field. They work with agencies to help plant pine trees in the forest, provide dog and cat food for the animal shelter and help provide meals for senior citizens.

Century 21 Realtors Maria Pina, right, and Desiree Soliz hold the donated check as Soliz, who is the chair of the coat drive, will be purchasing the coats.

Pina is a member of the Dos Palos Women’s Improvement Club and invites any child in need of a coat to come and choose one at the Century 21 office located at 1155 E. Pacheco Blvd. in Los Banos.

Additionally, the Realtors at Century 21 will be happy to accept any donated coats. For more information call Desiree Soliz at (209) 587-2259.
