Three families were displaced following an early morning fire that tore through a mobile home park in Firebaugh on Friday. The Firebaugh Fire Department responded to the blaze on Highway 33 just south of Douglas Avenue. Firebaugh Fire Chief John Borboa said that when units arrived, one mobile home was fully involved with two adjacent structures beginning to ignite. Four fire trucks from Firebaugh fought the blaze with a water tender and engine from Fresno County/Cal Fire assisting. Borboa said that one mobile home was destroyed, another damaged as well as one structure. The cause of the fire remains undetermined.
