This Friday night, Nov. 4, 2022, the Pacheco Panther varsity football team (6-4 overall, 5-2 WAC) will travel to Escalon to play the Cougars (7-3 overall, 4-2 TVL) in the first round of the Sac-Joaquin section division V football playoffs.
Pacheco has scored 210 points in their ten regular season games, while allowing 223 points this season. The Cougars scored 273 points this season while allowing 338 points.
Coach Jeremy Siemiller’s Panthers feature a solid running attack led by Abel Bravo and Brandon DeReza and the passing arm of quarterback Aiden Huerta. Pacheco has a strong defense, with Jesse Garcia, Daniel Scott, Louie, Gabe Setterberg, and Manuir Gakhal anchoring the defense.
Kick-off is set for 7 p.m. in Escalon.
