Winter festivities are fast approaching for Los Banos Parks and Recreation. Parks and Recreation largest annual event, Breakfast with Santa is set to be hosted at the Community Center, 645 7th St. on Dec. 10.
Tickets to the event are on-sale right now online at LosBanos.org or at the Community Center for $8. Tickets will be $12 at the door. The event will begin at 8:30 a.m . and run until 1 p.m.
Attendees will enjoy a delicious breakfast including pancakes, eggs, orange juice and more. Fun holiday crafts, winter mini-golf and fun games will be available for attendees. Children can write a letter to the North Pole and meet Santa Claus! Families may join Santa Claus for a family photo for an additional cost. For the first time, photos will be printed and available for distribution on the day of the event.
Parks and Recreation is moving forward with other programs and classes such as Kasey Alim’s Beyond Essential adult and youth yoga classes, adult, and youth Aikido, Turn up with Sara dance class and First Aid Certification classes. A new dance class is available on Friday evenings to learn Aztec style dancing for just $5 per month. The Pulse Teen group is a free group available to teenagers and hosted on Wednesday evenings. On Dec. 22, the Community Center will be hosting another Community Blood Drive.
Los Banos’ winter youth basketball league, Jr. Warrior’s Basketball, is registering now for ages 3-14 with limited spaces available.
