Behind the strong arm of freshman quarterback Gavin Blackwood-Estrada and the power running of Alonso Del Rio and Ray Echaveirra, the Dos Palos Bronco JV football team defeated Tranquility 37-0.
Estrada completed seven passes for 156 yards and three touchdowns. Estrada connected with Anthony Lish on an 11-yard score, Jonathan Jasso from 47 yards out for a touchdown, and LoLo Clark on a 27-yard screen pass.
Del Rio powered into the endzone on a 6-yard touchdown run, and Echaveirra added a 2-yard score for the Broncos.
Drake Jasso, Jesus Tapia, and Dominic Esquivel added stellar defense to help complete the shutout for Dos Palos.
