The Firebaugh FFA 2022-2023 chapter officer team for the upcoming school year is made up of individuals who had the fortitude to take on a leadership role and serve on the chapter officer team. Our officers aspire to be the best leaders for our members and our community. Their dedication will surely be showcased throughout the year.
The chapter’s president is Ray Alfaro. Ray is currently 16 years old and a junior at Firebaugh High School. He loves social media whether it be showing off his outfits on Instagram or making tiktoks, it’s how they express themselves. Ray also enjoys playing volleyball and is currently trying to start up a boy’s volleyball team. He enjoys helping others feel better about their appearance and overall help boost their confidence. Ray wants others to know that FFA helps you grow on a personal level.
Chapter vice-president is Samuel Hernandez. Samuel enjoys handling rabbits and pigs, both of which he raises and exhibits at animal fairs. His favorite FFA events are State Conference and MFE. Aside from FFA, he is involved in band, specifically percussion, and at his church where he serves as the youth president. Some of his hobbies include playing the drums and singing. His favorite color is red and he loves movies, especially those set in medieval times and during world war.
This year’s chapter secretary is RJ Coffman. RJ is a sophomore at Firebaugh High. He spends most of his time at the school farm, caring for and preparing his animals to compete at fairs. RJ is also a former greenhand officer. One thing he is looking forward to this year is setting up our Discovery Degree program at Firebaugh Middle School. RJ wants people to know that FFA is not just an organization to learn about agriculture but also to become a better leader. Most of the time you’ll see him rocking FFA gear.
