Los Banos High School’s Athletic Director Joseph Barcellos was the recipient of the prestigious California State Athletic Directors Association Sue Kamiyama Award.
The award recognizes an athletic director for outstanding leadership and contributions to the position and the California State Athletic Directors Association.
The award was presented to Barcellos at the state athletic directors’ conference held in San Diego this spring. Sue Kamiyama served as an athletic director, coach and teacher at Bell High School for 32 years before succumbing to cancer in 2004, at the age of 54.
