The Los Banos Tiger junior varsity football team won their second consecutive game Friday, Oct. 14, with a 21-12 win over the visiting Ceres Bulldogs.

The Tigers opened the scoring when Nathan Kanemoto rambled 72 yards on a punt return for a Los Banos touchdown. Pablo Luna added the PAT kick, and the Tigers held a 7-0 advantage.

The Bulldogs closed the gap to 7-6 when Michael Soliz scored on a four-yard run.

Soliz added another three-yard touchdown run giving the Bulldogs a 12-7 lead.

Los Banos retook the lead at 13-12 when Aaron Briseno scored on a 16-yard touchdown run.

Briseno added a nine-yard touchdown run, and Able Carrillo ran in the two-point conversion for a 21-12 Tiger advantage.

The Tiger defense played a good game, limiting the Bulldogs to just 12 points.  Angel Valero paced Los Banos with eight tackles, and Luke Reyna, Jared VanLobenSels, Joshua Gargano, and Owen Baffunno each added five stops for the Tigers.
