Students at Merced College had the opportunity to explore career pathways in dentistry during an engaging workshop hosted by Suave Dental on March 26 at the Career & Transfer Center.
The event introduced students to the diverse opportunities available in the dental field, including careers in dental hygiene, dental assisting, office administration and other specialized areas.
Representatives from Suave Dental provided helpful guidance on how students can begin preparing for careers in dentistry, discussing education pathways, internship opportunities and the skills needed to succeed in a professional healthcare environment.
Students had the chance to learn directly from experienced professionals, gaining insight into daily responsibilities, career growth opportunities and ways to get involved early through internships and training programs.
