The second annual Spring Maker’s Market is here to ring in the new season with new decor, new recipes and the same springtime spirit as last year. The Ted Falasco Arts Center will be blooming with vendors showing off their newest projects on April 18th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Admission is completely free, so as May inches closer with Mother’s Day in tow, everyone and their mothers are welcome to come browse the arts center for a special gift for an even more special person. Members of the Los Banos Council of Arts are huge supporters of the Winter Boutique and now the Spring Market.
The seasonal opportunity to sell wares and wow new clients is as much of an opportunity for the vendors as it is for the Ted Falasco Center itself, and, as always, the Arts Council is proud to showcase the creativity and spirit of its community.
Darla Fagundes, long-time coordinator of the event, is glad to be back with a fuller team for the second Spring Market, and for what is sure to be a “nice day and a nice event to kick off the season.”
The lineup of vendors from the 2025 Winter Boutique will be making their grand re-entrance to the market this April, so fans of wood carvings and bespoke needlework will be eager to revisit the stalls of Mel Soares art studio and Heart Strings to browse their new Spring projects.
Shoppers looking for more conventional accessories will revel in the variety of jewelry on display. From beaded bracelets to resin pendants, eager accessorists will definitely have no shortage of choice.
Also returning is the fleet of food, dessert and beverage stalls that will help guests beat the steadily increasing heat.
Though Easter will have come and gone by the time the vendors set up shop, food artists like Delicioso and Nana Steph will be ready to offer up sweet treats like pies, cupcakes and candies to those who didn’t get a basket from the Easter Bunny, no egg-hunting required.
These same vendors will also be offering homemade candy and baked goods that make sweet gifts for sweet tooths, or for taking home the latest spring recipes for yourself.
The second annual Spring Maker’s Market will open its doors to a new season at 9 a.m. on 5th and K. Entry is free and so is the fresh spring air, so come help the vendors make Springtime a good time on April 18th.
