In Loving Memory of Kathy Rene Dickens

Kathy Rene Dickens, age 69, of Hollister, CA, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, surrounded by the family she loved so fiercely. Born on September 11, 1956, in Dos Palos, CA, Kathy was the beloved daughter of Chesley and Virginia Branch. She grew up with a generous heart, a quick wit, and a deep devotion to those around her.

Kathy was a devoted wife to Tommy Dickens, with whom she shared 50 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they built a life rooted in love, laughter, and unwavering commitment. She was the proud mother of her only son, TJ Dickens, and cherished her daughter-in-law, Erica Robledo-Dickens, as one of her own. She was the adoring grandmother of Kaiya, Jada, and Kody Dickens, each of whom she loved fiercely and unconditionally.

Her kindness, humor, and selflessness touched everyone she met. She had a special gift for making others feel at home, especially children—many of whom she cared for as if they were her own. She was the glue that held her family together, always the one to organize, comfort, and uplift. Her love was a constant, her presence a blessing.

Kathy is survived by her husband Tommy; her son TJ and daughter-in-law Erica, her grandchildren Kaiya, Jada, and Kody; her brother Larry Branch; her sisters Sandra Stivers and Joy Branch-Londesborough; her brothers-in-law Mark Londesborough and Claude Dickens; and her sister-in-law Judy Dickens. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will carry her legacy forward. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Carl Branch and brother-in-law Lonnie Stivers.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 21, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at The Barn in Tres Pinos, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice, VA Hospitals, or Children’s Hospitals, reflecting Kathy’s lifelong commitment to nurturing others.
Kathy’s love lives on in the hearts of those she held dear. Her grandchildren will forever remember the songs she sang just for them:

“I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always,
As long as I’m living, my baby you’ll be.”
And with a twinkle in her eye, she’d always say:
“I love you little, I love you big,
I love you like a little pig.”

Forever in our hearts, Kathy’s love will continue to guide and inspire us.
