Varsity Swim: Pacheco High was the host location for the WAC swim trials and finals on April 24 and 25. With all eight league teams converging on to campus the host Panthers were chasing league titles in both boys and girls swim.

Entering the finals the Pacheco girls team trailed only Beyer in the standings. A finish ahead of the Patriots at the finals would guarantee at least a share of the title. On the boys side a perfect 7-0 season would mean the boys would finish champions by staying within one place of Davis at the league finals.

Several Pacheco swimmers placed well at the finals with the boys 400 freestyle relay team being the only event winners of the weekend. The team, made up of Alessandro Hurst, Javier Jimenez, Sahaj Amber and Magelli Roxas would earn all league honors with the win. The girls 200 medley 200 freestyle and 400 relay teams finished second in their finals. Girls 400 included Rubi Mendez, Makenzie Shryock, Aiyana Loretto and Samantha Ceja.

Other high finishes included:

Boys 200 yard medley relay-2nd

Alexandra Loretto 200 IM-2nd

Alessandro Hurst 100 Butterfly-2nd

Magelli Roxas 100 Freestyle-2nd

Matthew Reyes 500 Freestyle-2nd

Aliyana Loretto 100 Backstroke-2nd

Javier Jimenez 100 Backstroke-2nd
