On March 20, Los Banos High School hosted its third annual Multicultural Night, a three-hour event that celebrates diversity and supports various clubs on campus raising funds by selling food.

Building on the format from previous years, members of clubs prepared and sold food for guests to sample and test their knowledge on different cultural dishes. Alongside the booths, food trucks and other vendors were also present, adding even more variety for guests to choose from.

Many prominent clubs on campus set up booths that offered food items from different cultures. The Spanish Honor Society served Aguas Frescas, the League of Latin American Citizens (LULAC) sold bowls of pozole and the Home Economics club sold Filipino spaghetti.

Other clubs on campus such as the Black Student Union (BSU) participated by selling cookies and brownies while the Interact Club sold nachos and hosted a game where guests could match a flag to its corresponding country.

In addition to the club booths, the event featured local small businesses. Rare Earth Coffee, a new business soon to open in Los Banos, offered free samples of coffee and hot chocolate to introduce their products to the community.

Multicultural Night also offered entertainment with folklore dancing, live music and henna tattoo artistry.

To simplify transactions, the school made the event cashless. Attendees purchased tickets valued at one dollar each, which they could use for food, games and other activities.

This system helped make purchases more efficient while making it easier for clubs to manage funds. The money raised during the event will go toward future projects and activities for the clubs.
