The 2025 CCC league basketball season concluded for the Los Banos Tiger JV and freshman teams with both squads splitting their final two games.
The JV Tigers defeated the Buhach Colony Thunder in overtime by the score of 75 to 68, but then dropped a 60 to 39 decision to the El Capitan Gauchos.
Jacob Castro (27 points, 3 rebounds) led the way for the Tigers in the two games, followed by Mike Perez (25 points, 11 rebounds), Moises Perez (24 points, 21 rebounds), Jonathon Snapp (15 points, 21 rebounds) and Zayden Affonso-Stiers (6 points, 5 rebounds.
In freshman action, the Tigers defeated the Thunder 48 to 42 but lost 43 to 33 to the Gauchos.
Zaevin Cancino (23 points, 21 rebounds) led the way for Los Banos, followed by Damien Osegueda (20 points, 11 rebounds), Elijiah Chiapetta (12 points, 12 rebounds), Maggio Carter (11 points, 15 rebounds) and Issac Garza (6 points, 8 rebounds).
