It was a busy day in the Brett Lee Gym Saturday, Dec. 21 as the Pacheco High hosted the 14th Annual Clash Before Christmas wrestling tournament.
Fourteen high schools participated in this year’s event.
First place winners include: Andres Luna, Dominick Hurst, Benjamin Bojorquez, Christian Bravo, Athena Castillo, Jacob Villaverde, Favio Valdez, Moses Delgadillo, George Torres, Robert Crawford, Abraham Almanza, Octavia Magdaleno, Juan Gonzalez, Jayna Arrocena
Second winners are: Jordan Javaid, Aaron Mendez, Alexandra Loretto, Yasmin Jimenez, Rey Rivas, Melaya Soto, Dominic Melgoza, Hugo Flores, Gabriel Segura, Dylan Avila, Alejandro Tovar, Roberto Barragan, Dulce Rodriguez
Third place winners include: Eva Magdaleno, Gilberto Nunez, Christhian Guerra, Noemy Sanchez, Alexander Mejia
Special thanks goes to the Campos family, Butler family, Mayra Hurst, Lorena Guzman, Arrocena family, and the many others who helped make the tournament happen.
And a very special thank you to Dan Roton, who started the Pacheco High wrestling program, the tournament founder, and who has been a major influence on Los Banos wrestling for years.
