There will be animals in Los Banos who will have a A Tail to Remember Wine Walk in Downtown Los Banos as the reason they are still alive. The first-ever fundraiser event held in downtown Los Banos on Friday night, Aug. 2, was well attended. According to Blanche Jorge, a member of the Friends of the Los Banos Animals group, 180 tickets were sold. For $30, a person could enjoy wine, appetizers and a commemorative wine glass as they stroll along the streets of downtown Los Banos and visit 10 local businesses. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Friends of Los Banos Animals group. Jorge also hopes that the group can have a similar event in the Fall.
