A driver hitting a parked car and flipping onto its side led to a DUI arrest in the early Sunday morning.
According to Los Banos Police Commander Justin Melden, on March 22 at 12:27 a.m. Los Banos Police officers responded to the 2300 block of North Fallbrook Dr for the report of a vehicle flipped over onto its side in the roadway.
Officers responded and located a black Acura lying on its’ driver side with full airbag deployment. It appeared the Acura struck a car parked along the south curb while traveling at a high rate of speed.
The driver, Danny Garcia, age 30, was able to climb out of the vehicle prior to officer arrival. Officers noticed objective signs and symptoms of alcohol intoxication, Garcia was placed under arrest for violation of CVC 23152(A)- DUI.
