On Sept. 6 at 11:06 a.m., police officers received and responded to a report of an armed robbery at Pearson’s Jewelers in the 900 block of Sixth Street.
Armed with handguns, three Black males wearing masks and hooded sweatshirts entered the store and took several $1,000 worth of jewelry, according to Los Banos Police Cmdr. Justin Melden.
During the robbery, the suspects assaulted one of the employees, who needed medical attention as a result.
Melden says detectives have been conducting extensive follow-up on this case, which is a very active investigation.
