The FFA Sweetheart campaign is one of the Dos Palos FFA Chapter’s annual traditions. Every year, FFA members vote on one person from each grade level to be the grade representative for Chapter Sweetheart.
The four students who will be representing their class as Chapter Sweethearts this year are Courtney Fernandes (freshman), Grace Soares (sophomore), Kylie Hurd (junior) and Lizbeth Mata (senior).
As a part of their campaign, these members are required to take an FFA knowledge quiz and will be selling flower grams or bouquets to fellow students as well as members of the community. The flower gram sales will begin on Jan. 29 and end on Feb. 7.
