More than 100 men and women poker players packed the Los Banos Sportsman Club on Sunday, February 5, for the ninth annual “Texas Hold ‘Em” tournament benefiting the Los Banos Touchdown Club.
Players from the area filled 12 poker tables for the all-day tournament. The fund-raising event began at 10 a.m. with 105 players and continued throughout the day and late into the evening when the final winners were crowned. Leo Cortez took home first place, with Ramil Capito finishing in second place and Russ Viets claiming the third-place prize.
The Los Banos Touchdown club thanks all the players, sponsors, and volunteers who helped make the event a huge success.
