Joan Wiley Lima, 78, a resident of Dos Palos passed away on January 16, 2023 at her residence in the company of family. Joan was born April 21, 1944, to Guydell and Georgia Wiley in Missouri.
Joan met Frank Lima and married him on August 24, 1963. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Dos Palos. Joan loved people and will always be remembered for being kind and generous.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Guydell and Georgia Wiley; her sister, Linda Shearer; brothers: Dale Wiley, Danny Wiley, and Dennis Wiley; and son in law Bobby Ortiz.
Joan is survived by her husband Frank Lima; children: Michelle Ortiz, Craig (Taune) Lima, Lori (John) Doyle, Eric (Chelsea) Lima; sisters: Diane Mills and Sherri Hennagan; brother Larry Wiley; 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many family and friends.
Services will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023. The rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Dos Palos followed by the funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.; burial will follow at the Dos Palos Cemetery District. Services are under the direction of Whitehurst Funeral Chapel-Dos Palos.
