Dos Palos Bronco improves to 8-1 with a 48-6 victory over Firebaugh

The Dos Palos Bronco JV football team traveled to Firebaugh on

Friday, Oct. 21, and steamrolled the Eagles 48-6.

Another outstanding performance from freshman quarterback Gavin Blackwood-Estrada led the Broncos to victory. Estrada threw for three touchdowns and ran for a fourth score, helping Dos Palos to their eighth win in 2022.

Estrada connected with Jesus Tapia on a 13-yard scoring pass, with LoLo Clark for a 20-yard score, and with Dominic Esquivel for a 10-yard touchdown. Estrada added a 52-yard scramble for his fourth touchdown of the game.

Esquivel also rushed for two touchdowns, one from 10 yards out and another on a 53-yard scamper. Anthony Del Rio added a 50-yard touchdown bolt to complete the scoring for Dos Palos.
