The Pacheco Panther Frosh football team defended their home turf on Oct. 6, by defeating the Freshman team from Ceres 30-6.

Several of the young Panthers had stellar games for Pacheco. Julian Flores had a pair of touchdowns on runs of 20 and six yards. Josiah Alvarez returned a Bulldog punt 50 yards for a score, and Jayden Mendoza recovered a bulldog fumble and returned it 25 yards for the final touchdown.

Mendoza also ran in all four 2-point conversions to give the Panthers 30 points.

Ceres scored a meaningless touchdown late in the fourth quarter, but it was too little too late, and the Panthers had their 30-6 victory over the Bulldogs.
