Emily S. Vincent

Emily S. Vincent, 95, died Sunday, September 25, 2022 in Merced, CA. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Emily was born October 14, 1926 in Dos Palos, CA. Emily married Joe L. Vincent on June 1, 1946 and he was the love of her life. They were married 64 years and were blessed with four children.
Emily was a hardworking woman and she passed this down to her children. She worked alongside Joe on the farm for many years.
She then worked 18 years in the cafeteria at different local schools.
Upon retirement from the school, she went to work at the Dos Palos Drugstore. Emily was an active member at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a 38 year long member of YLI.
Emily is survived by her children Larry (Barbara) Vincent, Patricia (Jack) Jones, Darrell (Dene) Vincent and Valerie Vincent: 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe L. Vincent.
Emily will be remembered for her love of family, her long-time support in her community and her amazing cooking.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was truly a great woman.
Emily’s family would like to give a special thank you to Angelica Ramirez and Lucy Del Rosario for their care, love and friendship to her these last few years.
The Holy Rosary will be on Friday, October 7 at 10 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dos Palos followed by the Mass.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Salvation Army or Community Food Bank in Fresno, CA.
