Sparked by the return to the court by America Ordunez (she has been injured all season), the Tigers swarmed all over the court and defeated Mt. House to improve to 6-9 on the 2022 season.

Los Banos claimed the first set by a score of 25-17 when a Mustang girl hit the ball twice, resulting in the deciding point.

Ordunez blocked a Mustang shot at the net for the final point of a 25-8 second set victory.

The Tigers lost the third set by a close 25-23 score, and Mt. House closed the gap to 2 sets to 1.

Moxie Barton served for the final and deciding point in the third set when the ball hit the top of the net and dropped in for the 25th and final point. The Lady Tigers closed out the decisive set and claimed a 25-16 set and match victory.

The Lady Tigers had several outstanding performances in the victory, Ella Cascia was all over the court making play after play; and Maddie Jasso, Ashley Pafford, Cami Curuthague, Booklyn Silva, and Ava Menefee all added stellar play to the victory.                         After the match, Ordunez said, “It felt so great to be back on the court with my team.  It’s been really hard watching from the bench and not being able to be with my girls; now I’m healthy and ready to help us win as many matches as we can.”
