New Beginnings is glad to announce the return of its Harvest Funfest on October 31, one of the biggest community events in Los Banos, turning the scary into the FUN.

FunFest starts at 5:30 and goes until 8:00 p.m. on what has traditionally been “Halloween.” The event includes candy, games, jump for fun, a cake walk, tracker lights, “Trunk or Treat,” and more.

We plan to welcome and honor our Los Banos police officers and firefighters, as well as the mayor of Los Banos.  We will also award prizes every half hour as well as enjoy exciting music.  FunFest is for kids of all ages, so come one, come all.  No need to worry about masks or hoods.

The ability and passion to do Harvest FunFest grows out of New Beginnings Focus of “Loving God, Loving People, so we can be a place of Hope and Healing.” Part of that focus is the desire to be a safe place for everybody, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

So much of what New Beginnings does flows from this focus.  What New Beginnings does is designed to be a benefit and blessing to the entire community, not just for church people.  All are welcome.  The church is to be reflective of every nation, every kindred, every tongue, every tribe.

New Beginnings is also a place of worship for Vision Familiar a Hispanic congregation.  Without New Beginnings, Vision Familiar would not nearly have all the opportunities afforded them.

New Beginnings wants to be a benefit to the entire community and population of Los Banos and the surrounding area.  New Beginnings holds Sunday service at 10 a.m. every week.

Our service is also live-streamed on our website, nbschurch.com, as well as YouTube.  During the Sunday a.m. service there is nursery care, KidLand Ministry and adult worship and teaching.  All are welcome.
