The Pacheco Panther JV football team evened its 2022 record at 1-1 with a decisive 52-20 victory over the Seaside Spartans Sept. 2 in Seaside.

The young Panthers had several players involved in their seven touchdowns, Freshman quarterback Aiden Pikas rushed for one score and connected with Ivan Quiroz on a 28-yard touchdown pass.

Zealand Hatcher scored three times for Pacheco, and Jared Rasberry and David Sandoval each crossed the goal line in the victory.

After the game Panther quarterback Aiden Pikas said, “Our offensive line really played great.  They opened holes for us to run through and gave me great protection to be able to throw the ball.”

On Sept. 9, the Panthers hit the road again, this time traveling to Tracy to face the Bulldogs. JV game time is set for 5 p.m.
