Three Los Banos High School graduates each received college scholarships during a ceremony held at Parreira Almond and RPAC Almond Grocer and Handler companies on Ortigalita Road Thurs., Aug. 4, 2022.
The three students receiving scholarship were, Amelia Smith who will be attending California State University Monterey, Gabriella Estrada who will attend Fresno State and Ryann Vierra who currently attends California State University Chico. Parreira Almond Processing has been in business since 1973 and RPAC Almond Grower and Handler has been in business since 1986. Both companies are committed to the families of their employees and want to help pay for educational opportunities with annual scholarships to trade schools, universities, or community colleges.
