Fall is quickly approaching, and Los Banos Parks and Recreation is getting ready for its busiest time of year. Los Banos recreation youth soccer is underway, with fall youth volleyball and winter youth basketball leagues registering now.

New classes are starting, such as Yoga for Kids, Youth Evolution sports classes, Bonillas Basketball class, Clase de Zumba and much more!

Fall is a popular time for events with a long series of events through Los Banos Parks and Recreation. Join us on Sept. 17 at Regency Lot D Park, 556 Rockport Dr. to plant trees and paint the basketball court.

On Sept. 30 we’re celebrating our 37th annual Salute to Seniors event at the Community Center. Seniors can enjoy vendor booths, bingo, raffle prizes and lunch. Tickets are on-sale now.

On Oct. 6 at 6 p.m. residents can join us at the Community Center, 645 7th St. for a public meeting to discuss the new park being designed for the Shaunessy Village subdivision.

 On Oct. 18, residents are invited to attend the Parks and Recreation Commission to discuss updates to projects such as the pickleball court construction at Cresthills Park, 700 Pioneer Rd.

On Oct. 29the Los Banos community is invited for some spooky fun at AG Sports Complex, 700 N. Mercey Springs Rd. Our annual Fall Festival is returning with even more fun this year. Attendees can enjoy pumpkin painting, bounce houses, venture into our spooky maze and play fun games in the park. To end the event, we will be offering a special free showing of Hocus Pocus in the park!

Many exciting small projects are also underway this fall including the replacement of playgrounds at Little Page Park, 600 Page Ave. and Davis Park, 254 Santa Ana St.
