Kiwanis International of Los Banos will be hosting its annual Christmas Bazaar event on Dec. 8.

The event takes place at the Miller & Lux building located at 830 6th Street in Los Banos. The doors will open at 10 a.m. and will close at 4 p.m. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.

There also will be a delicious soup and salad lunch available for only $8. Lunch will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

All proceeds will help fund the annual Christmas Eve dinner. Kiwanis will then be hosting the 40th annual community dinner on Dec. 24 with the Los Banos Fire Department. The club has already made arrangements for Santa to take time out from his busy schedule to attend the dinner and provide the children with a stuffed animal or present. Last year, more than 950 community residents were treated to a wonderful meal.

Donations of gently used or new stuffed animals are always appreciated. Community residents and welcomed visitors will have the opportunity to shop for one-of-a-kind gifts, arts, crafts and holiday treasures created by gifted local and visiting artists. It is a fun-filled and festive day where you get into the holiday spirit while helping out community residents in having a blessed Christmas Eve.

This event is another way to get into the holiday spirit while being amazed by all the talented artists from the Los Banos community and surrounding areas. If interested in a vendor booth or donating, contact Isabel Mendonca at 209-261-2279.
