Los Banos celebrated the holiday season on Dec. 4 as families gathered at Henry Miller Plaza for an evening filled with festive activities, warm treats and community connection.
The plaza was decorated with bright lights and holiday decorations that created a cheerful atmosphere as children and parents enjoyed free hot chocolate and cookies while walking through the many activity zones set up for the event.
Children spent the night playing games and enjoying inflatable attractions while families took advantage of photo opportunities with Santa Claus and the Grinch, which quickly became one of the most popular attractions of the evening.
Many families lined up patiently with their phones ready to capture moments that would later become cherished holiday memories.

Raffle tickets were distributed throughout the night, giving attendees the chance to win prizes generously donated by Target, Walmart, Memorial Hospital Los Banos, and Hobby Lobby, including children’s bicycles, a television, toys, and gift cards that brought excitement to both kids and adults each time a winner was announced.
Los Banos Police officers played an important role during the event by greeting families, helping serve refreshments, posing for photos with children, and interacting with the community in a friendly and welcoming way. Their presence helped create a safe and relaxed environment where families felt comfortable and supported as they celebrated together.
Parents expressed appreciation for an event that offered free entertainment for children and created a positive space for families to gather during the busy holiday season.
By the end of the night, Henry Miller Plaza was filled with laughter, smiling faces, and holiday spirit, showing the power of community events to bring people together and strengthen local connections in Los Banos during one of the most special times of the year.
