The Los Banos Future Farmers of America’s (FFA) 2025–2026 officer team members had a fun yet productive two days, during which they gathered for the annual officer retreat. The newly elected team is now energized and ready to lead another outstanding year for the chapter.

On the first day, the officers met bright and early at Los Banos High School for a full day of planning. Before they got to work, they headed over to the mission to take this year’s officer photos, which will be used frequently throughout the upcoming year.

They mapped out monthly chapter meetings, selected this year’s theme, designed custom shirts and organized many key details for the upcoming year. During lunch, the team members shared a meal and went on a neighborhood walk to stretch their legs.

Officers also participated in a creative exercise, painting on a canvas some personal interests and hobbies. The second day shifted to fun and bonding.

Beginning with a Starbucks stop for caffeine and breakfast, the team headed to a park where, in pairs, they tackled a scavenger hunt, followed by playtime at the playground.

They then headed to their next stop, a trampoline park, where two energetic hours included dodgeball and a lot of bouncing. Lunch featured all‑time favorite In‑N‑Out burgers, and the afternoon brought friendly competition at a bowling alley with two intense rounds.

Mr. Rod Hill, the Los Banos FFA advisor, came ready to win, bringing his own bowling ball to take on the challenge! The day ended with a sweet pit stop at Costco for ice cream on the ride home.

The retreat struck a perfect balance of planning and fun, enabling the officers to build trust, get aligned on goals and enjoy time together before the start of the school year.

The 2025–2026 team left the retreat energized and fully prepared to guide Los Banos FFA into another year full of success!
