A new partnership between the VFW and the city of Los Banos concerning American Flags flying at Pacheco Park. Over 50 American Flags line the Pacheco Boulevard facing side of the park.
This marks the first time it’s ever been done at Pacheco Park according Los Banos Community and Economic Development Director Stacy Elms.
Going forward, on each of seven flag days, the 50 flags will fly at Pacheco Park. Those days are Pearl Harbor, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Veterans Day.
“For the city, it is an opportunity to honor our country and our veterans,” Elms said.
