The Los Banos Tiger girls varsity basketball team improved to 3-0 in the early season on Nov. 26, with a narrow 37-34 victory over the visiting Livingston Wolfpack.
The Lady Tigers struggled in the first two periods of play against the Wolves, trailing at halftime by the score of 16-13.
But Los Banos used the strong play of Brooke Barton (11 points, six rebounds) and Ciana Howard (10 points, five rebounds) in the third and fourth quarters to outscore Livingston 24 to 18 to overcome the three-point halftime deficit and claim the three-point victory over the Wolves.
Cassidy Barcellos (5 points), Kaitlen Ramirez (4 points), Sienna Freitas (4 points) and Bryanna Lonnon (3 points) rounded out the scoring for Los Banos.
