On Aug. 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Assemblywoman Esmeralda Soria invites families to attend the community health and resource fair which will include a back to school backpack giveaway.
The event and giveaway will take place at Westside Union Elementary School, located at 659 K St., Los Banos.
Backpacks, food and resources will be available on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last. Children must be present to receive a backpack.
The event will offer information about state and local services available to families and feature a mobile health clinic.
Attendees can come discuss legislation while enjoying the food provided.
